Here's a picture of the wooly standing next to a regular feathered svart. These are from when they were younger.
NPIP & AI CLEAN

any idea how the woolys do in cold? Of course with shelter but I would love one.

Are their feathers just like silkie feathers then? Or is there a greater difference?

they are the same as silkie feathers. There isn't any real difference. I believe she will do just fine his winter.

I have not hosted a game before but I would be willing to host 1 tonight. I am at work all night, so the crazies should be good for me! They usually like me because I am crazier than they are, they wonder often why the are even here if the staff is crazier than they are! :)

Let me know if there is anyone able to give me some pointers and ideas as to what would be a good game or how to conduct it if there are any cool little tricks!

So awesome!!! My silkies did really awesome last winter so I'm super in love with them. Even a couple of my wyandottes got some minor frostbite last year(we had quite a few days of -40* with and without wind chills) despite being in a nice insulated coop the silkies were the only ones that seemed unaffected.

Someday I will have some hedamoras, and maybe some silkied ameraucanas and who knows what else. I love my regular father and my silkie feathered birds.

I love those little black chicks must have some!!!

I don't mind at all, just need a game idea.... I am not accustomed to forum games, with an end winner!

I think I found 1..... How does this sound?

Guess that Song

The game will have a series of rounds. Each round will have a topic (ie 80's; Disco; Elton Jon). During the round, I will quote song lyrics must relate to the topic.

Please give one guess per post, to give other people a better chance to also come up with something. You can post multiple times per round, but the three post rule applies.

The same song can be quoted multiple times in a single round, but it must be a different part of the song until the next round. Naming the song and band you're quoting would be preferable.

The game doesn't have any points or goal, but if you want to keep score,I could keep track of how many right answers you give.
