You have turkeys, right? Tell me how your adult toms do... lol Mine seem to be a little over-eager for treats. How do you train them to be patient and not try to eat fingers. LOL

I rarely give treats lol. They're just gluttons for attention! Two of my toms are obsessive about getting hugs, one could care less about everything (he's thanksgiving this year), and one is aggressive (he's thanksgiving next year after I get a son from him). The only worry I have in there is getting smothered by turkeys though I've had to completely stop pastopainting my nails so I don't lose fingers smile.png

I would eat the aggressive one this year, and use the non aggressive ones to breed. But, I don't want mean animals, I want docile ones! LOL

I would, but I need his color. He's the only bourbon buff tom I have. A couple weeks ago, I thought I was getting a pair of his sons from spring hatches to replace him but they turned out to be hens. So now I have to wait until I have a replacement for him before he can go in the freezer. He's only aggresive because he wasn't hand raised. We got him when he was 6 months old and was never handled. My other boys were hands raised by me so they're very sweet but they're mottled blacks.
