DH's surgery went well. He's awake and hungry and looks no worse for wear. No pasty face or nausea. Well not yet anyway.


Chickens were very cooperative yesterday and testing was both easy and speedy.


I received my pen from @pensmaster a few days ago. WOW this pen is too beautiful to use! Thank you Pensmaster! Photos to come, sooner or later lol.

Turkeys:Bourbon red/buff, red bronze, royal palm, mottled black, and any color in between!

great news, i hope he has a fast recovery

Chickens I raise: Ohiki, Swedish flower, svart hona, chocolate, mauve, mauve splash, cuckoo, blue, splash and black orps (bantams, ENGLISH), brown/isabel leghorns, and easter eggers. New for 2017 chocolate cuckoo english orpingtons(large fowl) and Buff saddleback pomeranian geese!
And, 1 lonely guinea hen who thinks she's a duck.
