Markings on head lead me towards bronze
But what I can see of back feathers maybe some narragansett.

A farmer gave it to me. I scared if I got a meat bird. IF THIS IS A MEAT BIRD I WILL BE UPSET. Bird is 2-3 months.

If poult is that old. Don't think it's big enough for a meat bird.

My guess us leaning toward narragansett or a narragansett cross.
 
i have some meat turkeys that are about 11 weeks that are about twice the size of that bird. im sure they're not a meat breed.
 
I just adopted a 1 year old turkey hen, does anybody know if this is a broad breasted bronze, or??? I am new to turkeys. I mainly want to know the lifespan to expect, she's a pet and the sweetest bird. [IMG]

She does look chunky. You can feel her breast to see if it's meaty like ones in the stores or if it's more sharp and not as meaty. I see she has a little beard too.
 
Yes she has a very meaty breast, I was afraid she might be a broad breasted, so I am guessing that she has maybe 4 years? She is so sweet, I'd like to keep her as long as possible. She loves her breast being rubbed, makes a chortling noise.

How much does she weigh?
If you think she is 4 doubtful she is a broad breasted.
