Im Kat, and pretty new to chickens. Luckily my husband has prior experience raising them and all of them are doing so very well. We live out in the middle of no where in Texas, and Id love to talk to more people in the area. In fact Im a transplant all the way from Georgia so meeting new people would be great. Currently we have an assortment of Leghorn, Speckled Sussex, Barred Rock, Bantams, Americauna, Sex Link and Lavender Orphington. Weve also got some georgia giant quail, Pharaoh, and A&M. Currently have 3 llamas (used to be 5), two cats and two pomeranians. One of our cats is odd eyed and she loves to hang around the coop.

Anyone else in the area?

I see that you've met a neighbour already

Yes, I understand the term, "middle of nowhere" and boy do I love it! Ha! Nice to know others can still find this magical place called isolation!

Make yourself at home here and ask any questions you do have.

Great to have you aboard and welcome to our flock! :)
