We bought 8 chicks and they were supposed to be 99% sure to be all Pullets. However I'm a little suspicious of two.

The first picture collage is of "Fat Amy" and yes you read that correct. My 14 y.o. named her after the character from 'Pitch Perfect' because she has always been the largest of all the chicks. She literally towers over all the others. I really don't know what to think with her. She stands more erect like a roo, and she also got a lot bigger than all the other chicks a lot quicker. Amy is THE Queen B of the run. She gets on the roosting sticks when she pleases as well as eats out of the feeders when she pleases, regardless if that means knocking a few other girls out the way. Her saddle feathers don't have that signature curve and her comb isn't big at all, but she does stay fairly red up top, where as all my other Pullets do not. What do you think? Is Amy a pullet or could she possibly be a "Fat Albert?"

The second collage is of a chick I've called Claude for quite some time. Even though I was told they were all Pullets. He is sweet as gold and loves to be held. Claude has that classic chest up and out stance, the signature saddle feathers, larger comb, and since a new chick he's always been the one to try to square up with everyone (chest bumping

). Is he a Claude or could he really be Claudette?

We're just curious. It doesn't matter either way. The kids however don't want Fat Amy to change to Fat Albert lol. Thanks for your opinions! We really appreciate them.

Thank you! I'm still unsure though! One of them makes a loud, weird screech in the morning. Not sure if girls are supposed to do that?! Could possibly be trying to crow. Idk guess with some more time we shall see. Thanks for the replies!
