Hello everyone!

I live in Norco, California, also known as Horse Town USA.

I am a proud mommy of what I jokingly call me zoo.

Here is the list of animals I currently love and care for:

5 humans :)

1 cute fiancee, son, daughter, and soon-to-be 2 step daughters

3 Horses:

Strawberry, unknown breed, 32-34ish-years-old

Ruby, Warmblood (rescued horse, former chariot racing horse), 18-years-old

Loki, Thoroughbred, 15-years-old

1 Donkey,

Paco, guess is 13-15-years-old

3 Dogs:

Opal and Mishka, 2 Siberian Huskies, 8-month-old female litter mates

Guinness, Cavalier King Charles, Black &Tan,  6-years-old

1 Bunny

Cinna-bunn-bunn, Lionhead Bunny, 2-years-old

Less than dozen freshwater fish, indoors, no names, over 2-years-old

And..... last but not least....

11 Chickens:

Hawk and Sonic, Ameraucanas,  hatched April 4-5, 2016 (possibly pullets)

Xanax, Cuckoo Maran, hatched April 4-5, 2016 (99% sure a pullet)

Duckie, Buff Orpington, hatched April 4-5, 2016 (90% sure a pullet)

Red, Rhode Island Red, hatched April 4-5, 2016 (99% sure a pullet)

Rocky Road, Welsummer, hatched April 4-5, 2016 (possibly a pullet)

Salt, Silkie, hatched week of March 14th, 2016 (I have no friggin clue if boy or girl)

Pepper, Silkie, hatched week of March 14th, 2016 (Our favorite, started crowing 2 weeks ago :bow, googled like crazy because looks like a pullet, but has been crowing in mornings... in denial that Pepper isn't a pullet)

Rosie, Swedish Flower, hatched week of May 9, 2016 (99.9% sure a pullet)

Charlie, Brabanter, hatched week of May 23, 2016 (99.9% sure a pullet)

Stormy, Light Brahma, hatched June 5-7, 2016 (99% sure a pullet)

Wow

@FarmerJackie a lot of animals and humans to take care of you must be very busy! If I may ask how old are they if any of them are teenagers I have no idea how you can handle all that props to you! This site is very informational and as many people have said in this post welcome to BYC! This is definitely the best place to go for all your chicken needs. Feel free to search all the forums and help out when needed. From your intro it sounds like you know a thing or two about chickens so I hope you can help us make a stronger and more tight community and I think you will be  valuable member. I do suggest checking out the Family Life and Updates forum because there you can post all the pictures of all your adorable animals and dare I say... children lol. I am so happy to join and I really hope I can see your flock.   http://www.backyardchickens.com/f/40/family-life-stories-pictures-updates   Well I think I have babbled enough ijn this post. Have a great night and I welcome you to our roost! All the nest to you and your Backyard Zoo!

Yes, you DO have a zoo. Maybe you could charge admission - it would help with the feed bills. Lol. Really enjoyed your introduction. Welcome to Backyard chickens.

Welcome to BYC! I'm glad you joined us! :)

If you haven't noticed yet, I am the king of typos.

When I post in the "What Breed Or Gender Is This" section, I do not name hatchery/peoples' hybrids by a "breed" name (for example, Oliver Egger)--they are either a purebred or a mixed breed.
