really really need some help. Purchased two Sebastopol goslings from an online auction from a seller I know. They were fine at time of auction. When I went to pick them up seller said one had developed a head tilt, thought it was a vitamin deficiency, started her on Poly-vi-sol the night before. I took her home, have been using vitamins in the water and offering egg and other selenium rich foods, as well as vit e. She seemed a little better yesterday, but was worse this morning.

Now I'm not able to get her to eat anything, she seems skinny, feels light when you pick her up, and I'm really really worried. She drinks and nibbles food but won't eat it. I've tried a gruel of food and water but the second she gets any in her bill she shakes her head violently. I don't know what to do any more and I'm freaking out a bit. I've never had an issue like this with any of my birds.

Any help appreciated! Thanks.

Here she is tonight:

I have had duck, chickens, and turkeys get this. Adults and babies. Get some Poly-Vi-Sol, infant vitamins, without iron. Start him on that, it works great. If he's not eating, is he drinking? Make sure he is dehydrated. You can get a dropper and give him some water that way.

Once he is better it wouldn't hurt to get some poultry Nutri-Drench to occasionally had to their water.
