Why is my hen crowing?

I have an ameraucana hen that is a little over one year old and crowing. It doesn't sound like a rooster's crow but is just as loud. Can anyone tell me why she is and how I can possibly stop it? And yes, I am certain that she is female.

sometimes when there isn't a rooster a hen will take on the role of rooster by doing things like crowing, and tibitting
