Just want to make sure on everyone before my husband sends them to the freezer this week. These are supposed to be sexed pullets but I think I have a pair. 8 weeks old

I only think the one marked in blue is a boy. It is larger, thicker, redder, and has a slightly fluffier more downward tail than the other. Sorry the pics aren't the best, getting people to hold chicks for pics is hard enough, full sized birds it's nearly impossible...

He very well may be, but at this point he is showing no rooster feathering. If they were mine, I would wait before killing him. Besides he'll gain weight. A young Brahma that age is mostly bone and very little meat.

I'm sure they aren't very meaty at that age I'm just sick of feeding them, I ended up with way to many boys that were supposed to be girls. I would just hate to accidentally cull a hen though...

Brahmas are extremely slow developers. They don't reach their full adult size till they are about 18 months old "older in show stock". I've raised brahmas for nearly two decades and I've butchered cockerels at 10 weeks and it wasn't worth the trouble. I'd wait till they are about 16-18 week old, by then you'll know which are cockerels for sure. And they will be much more meatier.
