Thank you to all who replied. And yes it was quite the show. First I took her off the eggs to which she replied with a very loud objection. I swore she was hiding a cat under her by the way she seemed to be growling. She hissed, cackled, then stomped her little chicken feet, clutched an egg in one foot and just made all sorts of racket. I think the neighbor thought I might be turning her into dinner. She went about her business until I collected the eggs which I use a big coffee container for. I sat it down, she ran over to see what was in it and realized there were eggs....lots of eggs. So she did what she always does! Sat on them...
