Newly hatched help please

I have raised two sets of chicks, but this is my first time to hatch. I have 6 hatched right now and in the brooder. Three are great!!! One is smaller, but seems to be ok (just not as active). One has spraddled legs and maybe curled toes. I have wrapped first aid tape around the legs to try to help that. How long before you see results and the toes seem to be curled? Will the toes thing work itself out when its legs stay together. The last one I had to finish its hatch. It was about halfway zipped out and I waited 24 hours and it was still like that, but it was peeping away at me. I finally took some tweezers and finished the hatch. (very easy, no blood) This one is up and about, but is walking on its elbows. Do I need to do something about that? Its toes are all curled up. By the way, it is still drying out, but I went on and put it in the brooder so it would have company and it is very active.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The one with the curled toes with need them corrected. You can make little chick booties out of bandaids to fix them, like this:



You should see results in a couple days, same with the legs.

The one that walks around on its hocks likely has slipped tendon, which is really hard to fix. I've had it with chicks twice, and both times it couldn't be fixed and the chicks died. You can try to help, but it's really very difficult to correct and you may end up having to put it down or if it does survive it will always walk like that and will be special needs. Youc n;t afford to let them have a setback in these areas now or the results will be seen when they mature in a lack of blooming o their ull genetic potential.

Well, they are hanging in there. The one that I felt like was the worst, seems to be doing better. I put the bandaids on the toes and made a hobble out of rubber bands for both of them. The one walking on the haunches is walking upright now. The one who was so spraddled is just laying around, but seems alert. I added molasses to the water yesterday. I will go and try to find the other item. I read the Chick Podiatry article. It is great!!!! I am following some of their advice too. Thank you for your help.

I just culled them. Neither was getting better and one was on its back every time I went in to check on them today. I used vinegar and baking soda. It worked very quickly and seemed painless.
