Developer/layer different aged pullets

Hey there, I have 8 pullets that are 17 weeks old (not laying yet but a few should be any day) and two pullets that are 14 weeks old. they are currently eating developer feed and I have read when I get an egg to switch them to layer feed. My question is, will the younger ones be okay eating layer feed that early?
 
You can you an all flock/flock raiser feed for all ages.
Just offer oyster shell free choice, those that begin to lay will take what they need, the younger ones will probably "taste" put usually will not eat any until it's needed

I have a mixed flock and it works well for me.
