Whew ok been going on since I got them like 3 months ago. No change in activity or anything

Maybe you could search for "keeping chickens cool" in the search box and see what ideas people have - can range from putting ice into drinking water, frozen treats, spraying dust bathing areas etc. I recall there being a few threads recently on the subject.

Best wishes

It seems most likely that your chicken is simply trying to keep cool.

I agree with @CTKen it looks like she is panting, it's way they cool themselves.

If you are experiencing hot weather, make sure she has plenty of cold water to drink and shade.
You can offer cold/frozen treats like melon, cucumber, things with a little water content.

Keep watch, if she seems in distress - lethargic, laying down spread out and gasping, etc., move to her a cooler area and dip her feet and legs (some people submerge up to the neck) in cool water, then keep her in a cool/shaded area and monitor her.

Sometimes they spread out in the sand? They have shade under the banana tree it's a huge tree and other overhanging trees. I always have water available for them should I hose off a bit? When it's hottest?
I'm in sw florida so high is about 95 everyday. Should I maybe throw ice in their water?

Sure - hosing areas of the run off is good as heat is lost through the process of evaporation and ice cold water would be appreciated, I'm sure.

They only go inside at bedtime they have free run of the yard all day so I don't have a run per day but I can hose off the places where they hang out?
