Yes both should have rose combs. Ebony has the muff and beard from the EE as well very slight but there. We just hatched out four or five more of the same cross so it will be interesting to see what happens with these ones as well.

If your EE lays green eggs, you've got s 50% chance of green eggs from the pullets. I have one EE/Orloff mix, and she just started laying pinkish tan eggs. (Darn). My Legbar/Orloff pullets should lay green though, but they haven't started yet.
That's what I was kind of hoping for. Green eggs.

I just hatched some chicks from my dominique hens and an ameraucana roo. Judging by this thread it looks like I can expect black sex links and green eggs. That will be great! It's hard to tell by the down which is light grey but they don't look barred so far so I'm hoping for females....

Barred chicks will not show barring until they feather in, but they will have a white head spot when hatched. The white head spot indicates the barring gene. So any with white heat spots will be cockerels.
