I am wanting to add some color or more of a fancier type of chicken to my flock. I have heard a lot of talk about the jubilee Orpington but I was wanting to get some feedback because I have never owned or raised one of these birds. Does anyone have any information on this type of Orpington? Also, what are some other breeds to add to my flock that are rarer/ fancier. If nothing, this might lead to some good discussion. Thanks!
 
I sure hope you can get a conversations started. I bought some chicks recently which appear to include some Jubilee Orps or maybe some project Calicos, but I haven't found any conversations about people trying working on those. . I would love to discuss genetics with other breeders.

I hope so as well. I couldn't find a thread about the Jubilee Orpingtons. I am wanting to add some to my flock. I have found it a serious challenge to find a hatchery that has jubilees for sale. Where did you get yours?
