Hey everyone, summer time is broody and babies time and we would love to see your favourite broody hen, duck (or other poultry mom with her brood) pics and if your pic makes us go "Awwww" you can win!

 

All you have to do is post a pic or two of your broody mom (all poultry types accepted) in a reply to this thread. The five best entries will each win a 6 month GFM for themselves or a friend.

 

RULES:

 

  1. All entries must be submitted as a reply to this thread.
  2. Only two pics per member will be accepted.
  3. The picture needs to be taken by you.
  4. No fake editing, photoshopping or captions. We want "natural" pics!
  5. The FIVE best entries will each win a 6 month GFM!
  6. Have fun!

Yeah! Momma/baby pics are some of my favorites love.gif

But so many broodies, I'll have to whittle down my entries smile.png

Can't wait to see everyone's photos though.

this is Pumpkin, a cochin/barnevelder cross.  She hatched 9 chicks on June 4, 2016.  We call this chick Einstein because she keeps getting lost.

Awwww! The pictures are sooooo CUTE! We have a broody hen named Rosie but we don't let her hatch eggs.:( Good luck to the winner!

Let us then with CONFIDENCE, draw near to the throne of GRACE, that we may receive MERCY, and find GRACE, to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 188:24

My most consistent broody, White Rock "Lily", will lay for 5-6 weeks before wanting to be a mommy again. I love that little sleepy chick face at the bottom left.
