Sweet Mama, looks like Muffy the Mallard that used to visit us when she was in town. She used to walk on the outer sill and look in the picture window

Is she used to ducks around the place?  The tub is small so no big deal chickens will often stand in the water on hot days anyway so small bowls of contained water arent going to give them much to worry about.  A bigger pond or creek is another story.

@caychris - Yes, she actually grew up with our Khaki's so the hen knows the ducks swim in the big kiddie pool. The chickens won't get in it, though! I couldn't imagine how she would act if they went into a pond :rolleyes:

I'm going to wait another day or 2 for more entries and then we're going to start judging. Thanks so much everyone for the wonderful, wonderful photos! So much love and awww going on here, it's a wonderful contest. :)
