What happened to my fourth egg?

Hello! I have 4 Easter Eggers that just started laying. Everyday I get 3 eggs a couple weeks ago I got 4 eggs but haven't seen a fourth egg since. We've searched the yard and haven't found any hidden eggs so I'm just wondering if this is a common issue? Is it normal for a hen to lay a couple of times and then stop? Thanks for any help:)
 
Not every hen lays daily. EE are inconsistent layers. Mine have always laid in spurts, stopping and starting throughout the season.
