I have a baby chiick and shes injured. Her foot is swelling more and more. Me and my bf left her with a great friend who owns the farm. We werent gone even 20 mins came back and she couldnt use it at all. Before this occured she wouldnt leave Greg(bf) and I alone. She was born with several ducks and the only chick. We have both made her a home with us considering the fact she didnt want to be with croud...she ran but they were welcoming to her. Anyway she was able to keep up with us during the day running around with all 4 of us at the farm, once someone else walked by she wpild follow them. We are now so attached to her. What can i do? I need to save her. Please help me

Can you post a picture? It sounds like she had a small injury that got infected, but I can't be 100% sure from your description. If it is what I'm thinking, I would think that you should put antibiotics on it, but it could also be bumblefoot, where there is a big bump on the pad of the foot, sometimes with black scabs, but not always. In that case, you would drain the foot, and apply iodine to it and antibiotics to it, and maybe some Veticeryn.

Try soaking her feet in Epsom salt with Warm water, that should calm down the swelling. But you should bring her to a Vet. But as @Ameraucanas Said, you should give her Antibioties and do the iodine.

Iodine on what though i dont quit know about it but there are no open cuts, scrapes or anything like that

I would google bird vets near you. Call a few of the nearest ones. Ask if they also treat chickens. You do this while your bf does it also so you can find a vet that knows about chickens fast. Tell whoever is on the phone what's going on and then Take her there. This is just what I would do bc I don't know much about treating and home remedies and if it's serious I feel more comfortable having a professional do it.
