Shell damage while hatching

Rats invaded turkey nest on day 27 Salvaged 1 but shell was damaged and 1/3 of outer membrane was exposed. Put him in incubatorand swabbed with bacitracin and wrapped in wet paper towels He is pipped. and has 1/2 inch of hole started. But I wonder if the commotion got him malpositioned. chirping loudly, should I assist? Egg seems to unstable to push of the bottom to break out, kinda like a sock with the shell being fractured
