What a handsome boy! Once again, makes me wish I could keep roos here.

Thank you!!! I think he’s maturing and filling out really nicely.

I never thought I would have one but hatched him and fell in love LOL

So far he’s been quiet. We got rid of his loud mouth “siblings” (different breeds) that crowed constantly and early lol

Is he still quiet? One of my lavender orpingtons is definitely a rooster, but he hasn't made a peep, but he is only 2.5 months. If he stays quiet I will keep him. Is this normal for LO roos?

Yes he is still quiet!!! He finally started crowing a few weeks ago maybe? But even then it’s just a little bit in the morning (and a quiet one at that) and then not again! He’s just over 6 months old now. I’m not sure if it’s normal for them or not but my boy is pretty timid/not very confident which may be part of it? But he’s a very sweet boy! Handsome too and best of all quiet
