This is our chicken coop. It was a playhouse we bought from my brother inlaw but after moving it home some cat peed in it and our son didn't want to have anything to do with it. I closed off the hole where the slide used to be and made it their entry way. I've fenced up the bottom to keep the chickens from going under only because it was a pain to try to get them out at night to close it up. There is fencing on top for the feral cats and any other predators. Any thoughts or critiques?

The only thing that I see immediately is that it looks like your run is fenced with chicken wire. I would replace it with either chain link, hardware cloth or some other form of welded fencing but not chicken wire on the external run. I know you are wanting a secure pen and you would be surprised at how fast a dog, coyote, raccoon or fox can tear through chicken wire. Our Australian Cattle Dog can chew through 2X4 inch welded fencing and I hate to admit it, chain link fencing. I use chain link fencing for my runs though and so far so good mainly because I have backed it up with a hot wire which our ACD hates.

It has ventilation under the soffit. Also the door has a sliding window and there is another window on the opposite side which is open and has ratwire over it.

That's good...a couple of louvered gable vents might help too.
Are the windows protected from rain infiltration?

Put some nesting buckets in for the girls. They're set up on 4x4s and screwed into them on the front and held down in the back by that 2x4 on top. Amateurish I know lol
