Egg cracked, day 14, do I take it out or leave it, will it still hatch?

Hello everyone, I had a buff oprington go broody and so I bought her some fertilized eggs to hatch. We are on day 14 of her sitting on them and my kids were naughty and messing around with the hen (I didn't see this happen) and said that one egg cracked. I went and looked and one egg is cracked and indented and some blood has come out. This is my first time with Chickens and first time trying to hatch eggs. Will the egg be ok, or what do i need to do? I was worried about her eating it and maybe then wanting to eat the other eggs. Suggestions Please!!
 
I believe there is little hope of the chick hatching; specially under a broody. I would discard the egg immediately rather than have the hen eat it or having the cracked egg foul the nest.
 
Ok thank you for your help! So sad because i could see something moving around in the egg :( Does this mean that most likely the other eggs are doing well then? I wasnt even sure if this was going to work. Ive been told sometimes its hard to get a broody to hatch eggs, easier in an incubator.

Untrue. A good broody hen is more reliable than an incubator (my opinion). My incubator is in storage. I only use broody hens. Incubators can hatch more at a time. But broody hens continue when the power goes out and humidity levels are always correct.

I just went to get the egg and she ate it! :( now what?? Does this mean she is likely to eat the others as they hatch? There also is a yellow liquid on the other eggs. Im so mad at my kids for messing with her!!

I went to get the egg and she ate it! sad.png now what?? Does this mean she is likely to eat the others as they hatch? There also is a yellow liquid on the other eggs. Im so mad at my kids for messing with her!!

There also is a yellow liquid on the other eggs. If it isn't too bad just leave it as is. Im so mad at my kids for messing with her!!

I would just keep an eye on her with the other eggs. The mess in the nest can lead to bacteria getting into the other eggs and causing them to die or go bad. It is not always going to mean you lost all of the other eggs especially since you are already so far along. If the egg had broke on day 2 you would have had over 19 days for the nest to get nasty. With less than a week clean what you can and let her do the rest and hopefully she won't hurt her the other chicks.
