I am getting married and moving out of state late August, and sadly can't take all my birds with me. These are beautiful pureblooded Mohawk Rhode Island Reds. Great heritage fowl. They take longer to mature, but are good egg layers, tasty meat fowl, friendly and great mothers!

I'm in South Western PA, about 30 min from Pittsburgh, Ohio and West Virginia.

Would you meet up anywhere? I am in NJ.

How many do you want? (I have around 25 pullets for sale and cockerels too) Where do you want me to meet you? What are you willing to pay me for the drive?

Due to the wedding and moving, my upcoming weekends are packed. But, I could plan something next week Monday - Friday.

I only want 2 or 3 pullets. If you will be near eastern pa/NJ anytime in the coming weeks I could pick up then. I don't expect you to drive solely to sell these birds.

Sadly, I don't tend to drive east. I do drive up north, near Lake Erie (44041), but that may make me further away from you?

Thanks! And I hope you can find some nice Rhode Island Reds closer to home!

I got one this spring from the same place you got yours from. I really liked her so I just wanted some more from the same line. It is hard finding someone who is either close who will ship. Shipping chickens is hard and risky especially in this hot weather. Even if you did ship I would be hesitant.

It's easy to love Marcia's birds, she is a great breeder! Last I heard, she was getting out of her Rhode Island Reds.

I do ship hatching eggs. But, I would have to wait until fall. As you said, the heat is to much.

She was getting out of RIR. That is why I got one of her hens. She was selling trios but agreed to sell me a single hen since she wasn't getting much interest. The bird she sent me is the one in my avatar.
