I allowed one of my geese to hatch a few goslings this spring and left them with her and their father. Both parents are very protective and loving towards the babies, but I was recently able to find someone to take the young ones (we have too many geese). I'm concerned removing them will cause undo stress to the parents, but I want to keep them. Any tips to ease the transition, or am I over thinking it?

Thanks!

Actually your not, geese form strong bonds but if you need to rehome the gosling then you will just have to take the gosling away. The geese will mourn but they will get over it and be ready to start again next year. Just be sure to wear protective clothing when doing this.
