Is this ok?

My chickens are now 18 weeks old do I start putting nesting boxes into my coop now and how can I make them lay in it and for nesting material can I use the stuff that comes in the box when u order Meyer hatchery chicks or just pine shavings

You can try putting a few boxes in, yes. At 18 weeks some of them might be getting close. They will often lay in the nesting boxes of their own accord. Pine shavings are perfectly adequate bedding for nesting boxes.
