So got my mini incubator today ( after ordering a month ago ) and since it came out of China, you guessed it, no instructions for use. Soooooo>>>> I did research on line and found that it needs to be set to 99 degrees and 50%-55% humidity. But, where I fall off into the abyss is when filling the unit with water, there isn't a "fill to here" line so do I fill it and cover the holes that are under the egg holder or just under that point.....so confused.

and the eggs are coming on Monday. Please help this new chick out. Many thanks.

Hello mma wolf,
I see your post was from december...I just got this same incubator today....how did it work for you? I cant find anything on line about it. I too was confused at first of where to put the water....I see where NOT to put it....I dont do well with losing babies or birds. Just lost my whole clutch of this years Guinea Keets. 13 eggs. threee hatched all dead. and my broody hen just died an hour ago...had her for three years. hatched her out my self. Dehydrated i think./ i gave her food and water and she ws fine yesterday. today she went pale and wasn't hardly moving. I knew it was not good. I took her off the eggs gave her electrolyte water and within an hour she went in to convulsions. Soo. thats my great day. Anywho I digress. How is the incubator working ? a lot of bad rap on the Amazon reviews.

Sorry I didn't get notified of tour post. To answer tour question though most likely too late.....it was a piece of junk. I bought a nice one for $89 that turns the eggs every 2 hours, monitors the heat and humidity. Guess I got what I paid for in both cases.
