Chicklet Died !!

Thread Starter

Sadly...after 5 days, our little Chicklet died. Not sure why...I suspect from dehydration and I will check my thermometer...or maybe from just being a singleton chick.

I was so sad.....hopefully when we set the next batch of eggs, we will do better.....

Be careful not to have the brooder too hot.

Too cool is better than too hot.

Ideally there should be a warm spot and lots of cool space, just the way a mother hen raises them.

So sorry. Did you have a thermometer in the brooder?
