Are these EEs?

I've gotten mixed reviews about these 2 pullets. I bought them (and 4 others, different breeds) at Rural King, but most of the crew were mislabeled.
They are about 18 weeks. Single comb. Much bigger than the rest of the gals that are the same age (all standard sizes in my flock).

Not EEs. They look like Dixie Rainbows. They're a recent hybrid dual purpose breed (I believe with emphasis on meat production, hence fast growth and large size). Never had 'em myself but heard they're good birds.

I would agree not EE's. Bummer if you were hoping for pretty green eggs. Those yellow legs are not an EE trait and no beards or muffs.

I still think you have some very pretty birds there. I am not real familiar with the Dixie Rainbows but have heard of them and these two very well could be that.

 

I am sure they will lay nice eggs for your family.
