I have 5 young hens about 5 months old and I've recently bought 2 ameruacanas that are about 2 month old. All of my older hens beat the tar out of the 2 young ones. One to the point that she only has about half of her tail feathers and is raw. Is there anything I can do to prevent this or is this just inevitable? Will they accept them into the flock?

What you are seeing is normal chicken behavior. They don't accept newcomers very well. A few things that will help are: make sure there are hiding places (lean plywood or a pallet or some such thing against the coop wall to break the line of vision - just keep both ends open so a younger one doesn't get trapped), put up multiple feeding and watering stations, and make sure there is plenty of room. Free ranging can help that situation. How large is their coop and run (feet by feet)?
