Dying chickens

Well, isn't that odd? Guess you do learn something every day. In all honesty, I'd rather the birds eat most of their feed naturally, on range, but that would be a problem in winter. I'll have to check the Tucker Milling tags now. Will let you know what I find, if anything. Thanks for the info. (still seems so bizarre to me, lol).



ETA: No aspergillus-anything in the Tucker Milling feed I have.

Sorry for the less than sharp image, but in case you're interested, here is the tag for the 16% mini layer pellets I use and alternate with their 22% Super Layer. It contains animal protein and smells fresh, unlike other feeds like Purina I've tried in years past.

I wonder if the BYC forum has a special archive like most gearhead forums have for knowledge gained & shared? I need to use the desktop version as the mobile version I'm replying with is very hard to navigate for me at this very early point in my learning curve.
