Leghorns have yellow skin. They do not ever have a dark wash on the legs. It's a Phoenix. Feathering has nothing to do with it, since both breeds have the same color/pattern genes. The primary difference is the skin color. And a hatchery typically will not ever acknowledge that a bird sold as a sexed pullet is actually a cockerel.Ok I sent the pics to McMurray's and they said it is either a Silver Leghorn or a Phoenix but wouldn't really be able to tell until it's fully feathered at about 5-7 months. Also didn't even speculate on if it is a hen or rooster...
