Broody duck went out of nest and won't go back in

Today one of her duck eggs somhow broke open and no duck inside.She carried out the shell to try to eat I managed to getherto not eat it but now she is drinking water and splashing it on herself.She's also flapping her wings. I though she might be hungry so I gave her some bread. She ate some but she is still not going in th nest
 
During the Summer it is not unusual for a hen to stay off the nest for several hours because there is a good bit of heat built up in the nest, eggs, and nesting material. I doubt that ducks are any different.

Despite hatching many batches of chicks I only remember sitting a couple batches of duck fruits.

Tell us how it goes with your duck.
 
Well she's back on the nest.It seems like the 1 duckling she has distracts her. We seperated them and sure enough she lays on the eggs
