Can anyone let me know what breed of chicken this is Please! :)

Ok. She is really pretty and I'd like her only because of that & being a rare breed but we are looking for egg layers that lay colored eggs so I don't think
getting her just for those 2 reasons would be practical unless you can breed her with a rooster that will help her develop colored eggs. Is there? Can you
do that?

A hen can not just change the color of the eggs that she lays. That is predetermined by genetics. If you bred her to an Easter Egger, the odds are pretty good that her chicks will also be Easter Eggers.

If you had a rooster pure for the blue egg gene, their offspring would lay shades of green.

But, something to keep in mind, Dorkings are more of a dual purpose breed, for meat and eggs. They do lay and probably decently enough, but not at the rate of a Rock, sex link, Australorp, etc. And, from the meat side, they're heavier bodied and that means they eat more for less eggs. Not sure if that's a concern for you, just something to keep in mind.

I agree she's very pretty and unique, and sometimes that counts for a lot

Ok. Well I think it would be best to stay away from the breeding thing all together for now. I will pass on her.
Too bad because she is pretty. :) Thank you all for your information in helping me make my decision.
I don't know what I'd do without this site! It's fun too. Glad to be here! :D
