I live on Kauai, and looking for cheap empty egg cartons to hold large eggs. Any ideas? eBay has but shipping is too much. Thanks, Janet

does your local feed store sell eggs. Mine buys eggs from the locals around here Then sells them to customers but they put them in new cartons so they sometimes get overloaded with used egg cartons and will give them away just to get rid of them. I asked my local feed store and they gave me 30 of them for free.

Thanks for the suggestion, I found some from someone who was leaving the chicken business, so I am good now.

Lucky you!  I've been collecting egg cartons from family & sell them.  Now I've got pullets so won't be selling any unless I end up selling my pullets again.  Have raised many but family issues come up and I end up selling them :(    I've been told that some will give a "discount" if their buyers bring their own egg cartons.  Anyway just thought I'd pass this on.
