Empty egg cartons in Hawaii

does your local feed store sell eggs. Mine buys eggs from the locals around here Then sells them to customers but they put them in new cartons so they sometimes get overloaded with used egg cartons and will give them away just to get rid of them. I asked my local feed store and they gave me 30 of them for free.

Lucky you! I've been collecting egg cartons from family & sell them. Now I've got pullets so won't be selling any unless I end up selling my pullets again. Have raised many but family issues come up and I end up selling them :( I've been told that some will give a "discount" if their buyers bring their own egg cartons. Anyway just thought I'd pass this on.

I am not sure where to ask this question, but I do need advice, so please someone help!!

I need to transition my 12 red sexlinks who are 9 months old, and currently housed 3 per coop sitting next to each other. So 4 coops of 3, and I have a big coop under construction, 12 feet x 16 feet, and a run that will be attached, which is 33 fee by 37 feet. Dying to get them together in larger area, but not sure how to do it without any injuries. Pse advise! Thanks!

I live in Hawaii, and do not have any predators at this time, nor weather issues to worry about.
