 I've hatched a few silkies...;)    The one does look partridge like someone said.  The other could be a blue, or splash, post photos when dry.  Will be easier to see what that reddish color is on it..could have some partridge in it too.   But, will be mostly blue.

 Now that you have helped it, it will need help the rest of the way.  Looks like most of the blood is absorbed.  Shouldn't be long you can have most peeled off and have it out.

It died in the shell. I opened it to see if I could tell what went wrong.

blood island or blood ring? Thinking its a late starter as i just noticed the little in the middle. Just on day 5.

I could be wrong but I am 90% sure thats a blood ring. I don't have any pics of day 5 incubation but i think it should be further along, keep it for now, at least until you get some more educated people to answer!
