Yes it's very expensive here can't be leave what they rent homes for here.
We have break water rocks I guess it the ocean waves get high it hits the rocks first to calm the water people build close to the ocean they won't get flooded.I love the weather marine layer comes in sometimes we don't see the sun for days .
I raised chickens when I lived in Idaho and northern calif but living in the city now lots of restrictions I think I'm going to raise a few here hope the neighbors won't mind hope I can keep them quiet in the city we can have 8 chickens with a permit think it is about 20.00 for permit a year it is a new thing that there trying since lots of people what to raise chickens nice to be chatting with you
