only 5 hours today.

i'm a night owl -- I didn't know how noisy hens can be until they started to lay..

and once I allowed them to free range.. there's no going back.

I can't wake up at 5:15AM each day to let them out.. so i left the run's door open 24/7

Sleep and Chickens-- something to consider ?

Hard to tell, I am generally up all night till sometimes 5 am or 7 am. Then if I am staying home, I sleep till 4 or 5 pm. I'm a night person in a daytime world. I've always been that way. Used to get a big energy surge after 1 am. Now I don't have any energy except for eating everything in the fridge. I know all that is bad but, at least I love to shovel snow and it will be coming soon enough.
