Hello!please help me.

I don't know what keeps taking my chickens.ive had a few encounters.

One day the hens were free ranging.i was at work and came home and sunshine was gone.missing.no feathers or blood or anything.just...GONE!with a snap of a finger just gone.and my dog was outside chained up with a long lead near the woods to guard the chickens.

Then, I encountered another attack.no one dead this tame thankfully.i was inside doing stuff and looked out the window and saw the ducks quacking--no chickens.i rushed outside and didnt see the chickens.i saw feathers and long claw marks in the snow.i looked under a old snow mobile and fond Bea and blackie.gwen and wisteriea came out of the woods.couldnt find brownie.walked down the driveway and started to walked back up.the only way I fond her was cause of her little pink comb.i brought her back home.

And yet again.this time.i let the ducks out one morning and they did there stuff.walked back inside and a few hours later I come out.no peep.didnt think anything of it and started to wash out the waters.my female duck was quacking.i new something was the matter.i looked for two hours and no peep.no feather blood, claw marks, ect.

What is this animal?i think it's a bager or fox or bobcat.

Sorry for your loss,

in your description of how the bird went missing, is signs of a coyote that has taken one away. Did you get a picture of the claw marks? One could do some research on the marks and possible narrow down what predator it is.

Soooo sorry for your loss :( I lost one of my girls during the night too. Something snatched her out of the nesting box.

I'd have probably locked them up after the first one went missing........definitely after the second one was killed.
Doesn't really matter what killed them, you need to keep them safe.
