My duck eggs are in lock down day 26 temp is 98.5 humidity 80 the air sacs are way to big. What can I do?
 
Get your humidity down, to like 25%.... I don't know squat about ducks, but if you get the water out of your wells it will evaporate water out of the shells.

How much time do you have before lockdown?
 
Oh wow, well, I don't there's much you can do at this point.... keep us posted on how things turn out...

I wish I could say something more positive, but maybe things aren't as bad as you imagine....

Was the humidity at 80% the whole time?
 
No humidity was around 50 to 55 then on lock down increased to 80 I should of noticed it sooner that the air sacs was to large but in my first hatch they was to small.This is only my second time hatching duck eggs.my first hatch I had 4 lost 2 and 2 survived.

I'm a first time hatcher, and I'll admit I don't know too much, but I candled when I received my eggs (before setting them), again at day 7 and 14.... just to check the air cells.... Did you ever check them before lockdown? That could be the problem with your low hatch rates.

Well, it sounds like they're trying to pip, let's hope they make it

Yes I candled them at day 7 things were ok then at about day 23 I noticed air sac seemed larger. Everywhere I looked said to increase humidity and when I did the sacs seemed to just get bigger!! Lost one today other seems to be doing ok it's piped.
 
Yes, at the end you do want to increase the humidity, so the duckling doesn't get stuck in the membrane, while trying to hatch. But, in the first days - up to lockdown, the goal is to slowly enlarge the air sac by drying the excess water out of the shell. That increases the breathing space and minimizes the chance the duckling will drown when it internally pips through the membrane.

Ok Thank you I lost one yesterday and the other is breathing and chirping but has not zipped just piped
