A few days ago I noticed my young hen's left wing was lowered, almost touching the ground but not dragging, as if it was injured. I checked her over and couldn't find any injuries. Everything else, her walking and eating, etc. was good. That day I put her in a pen with younger birds so she wouldn't be roaming the yard or possibly getting into fights with some bigger birds. Two days later I noticed her right wing was now lowered somewhat and she tended to be off balance on occasion and preferred to lay down. I now have her quarantined in a pet carrier for the last three days. I let her out every day to stretch and exercise and she can walk but her left leg seems to be stiff or something and she prefers to hold it out quite a bit when sitting. When she is walking she seems to be holding her wings up again. She is eating and other than the lameness is acting healthy. Anyone have a similar problem or have any idea what could be wrong with her? Thanks.
