Is my young hen going lame or sick?

A few days ago I noticed my young hen's left wing was lowered, almost touching the ground but not dragging, as if it was injured. I checked her over and couldn't find any injuries. Everything else, her walking and eating, etc. was good. That day I put her in a pen with younger birds so she wouldn't be roaming the yard or possibly getting into fights with some bigger birds. Two days later I noticed her right wing was now lowered somewhat and she tended to be off balance on occasion and preferred to lay down. I now have her quarantined in a pet carrier for the last three days. I let her out every day to stretch and exercise and she can walk but her left leg seems to be stiff or something and she prefers to hold it out quite a bit when sitting. When she is walking she seems to be holding her wings up again. She is eating and other than the lameness is acting healthy. Anyone have a similar problem or have any idea what could be wrong with her? Thanks.

Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? While injuries and vitamin deficiencies are certaining something to check out, Mareks can affect chickens who are young, and may cause weakness of the arms, legs, imbalance, and other symptoms. I would watch her closely for the next couple of weeks, and use some poultry vitamins in her water, along with some scrambled eggs

Thanks for your response, and no, she was not vaccinated. Should I give her medication? I am already supplementing her food with vitamins and boiled eggs. I am keeping her indoors in a pet carrier but let her outside for a while each day. While outside she will walk around and eat things and acts completely normal except for on occasion what looks like she loses balance. If she does lay down sometimes she struggles to get back up.

I really don't know of any medicines to give her for imbalance, and having trouble getting up, but the vitamins (containing riboflavin or B 2) and making sure that she gets enough to eat and drink are important. Observe her activities, in case of changes or possible injuries. Hopefully it is not Mareks, but your state poultry lab or vet cought do a necropsy to look for that if you should lose her. Let us know how she gets along, and I hope that she gets better.

Today I had her outside in a kennel with grass for most of the afternoon so she could exercise and peck around, etc. So far she seems a little better when walking, is still eating and her wings don't droop much anymore. But I noticed today that her right wing started drooping some after a while. I though maybe she is tiring out after a long day outside. None of my other birds have any symptoms. If this isn't a sickness, I am thinking she may have eaten something bad as my chickens free range and go off into the bushes on occasion too.
