6 out of 7 serama chicks hatched in my incubator 3 days ago. 5 seem healthy and active but one of them has a bad leg. At first i thought it was spraddle but upon closer inspection i realized thia was different. His toes are curled up and so is the entire leg. When i try to straighten it he cries out in pain. I have also noticed when he tries to move the leg his wing moves the same way and if i move his wing the leg moves too. He cant get up much he only tries to hop on his good leg. I feel like it might be a tendon or something. Anyone have any idea what this could be? Is it possible and helpful to amputate the leg?
