Hello!! I was wondering what incubator would do best for duck eggs. I would like one that could hold 10+ eggs at a time but that's not necessary.
What is the best incubator for ducks?

There is not one specific to ducks. In fact, any incubator can hatch various bird eggs, reptile eggs, and even ... well I guess that's all the kinds of eggs we usually hatch in incubators.
The main thing I like in the incubator is the auto-turning thing. However, that is often the same price as the foam incubator itself. They really get you on that accessory.

I think once you get an incubator that holds temperature and humidity consistently steady, technique will be key to successful hatches. Misting and cooling duck eggs, in conjunction with hand turning, works best, IMO. I hatch Muscovy eggs, which take about 35 days.
That said, my incubators are a Brinsea Advance 20 (not filled to capacity) for incubation and a Hova-Bator 1588 for hatching.

Thanks everyone! I think I'll go for a Brinsea incubator because I've heard very good things about them.
I don't think you'll be sorry you did. BTW, that's a good-looking drake you have as your avatar. Is he black or chocolate?

For crying out loud - where did the "only feed cracked corn" thing come from?? I read about a duck in another thread that was suffering health problems because of it, and the owner was told by the seller to do it.Thanks!! That ruined his plumage until I bought him and now hes back to being a White-headed Chocolate ripple instead of a White-headed Buff. I have to say hes my most well behaved duck so far, I'm hoping to get some ducklings from him

I don't know why people think they'll be healthy with only cracked corn, it makes me mad. Thankyou, I have worked very hard getting him back to the way he is now. I can't wait till my female Muscovy gets better plumage too!! I also can't wait for those gorgeous ducklings
