Well, there's a fine line between being a "proud" Christian, and BOASTING. Showing off and putting others down in the name of Christianity would be wrong, but being glad and joyful and wanting to shout from the mountaintops that you are happy to be a child of God is praise, IMO...

It's a very fine line though. I'm sure someone can put it in better words than I just did ;)

That kind of sounds like a trick question. But there is good pride and bad pride. Example, you're probably proud that you're American, right? You respect the flag and celebrate 4th of July and are grateful for your freedoms, that's good pride. But that doesn't make it right to make fun of other countries and act like America is the absolute best, that's bad pride. I imagine it's the same with being a Christian. You should be proud in a good way but not a way that puts others down.

Thank you for your concern, my mind is somewhat made up but I don't have tattoos yet. So I would like to hear your opinion still, even if we possibly disagree.

I don't think you should get a tattoo. Why do you want one?
Don't take that in a bad way, I'm not trying to be mean or judgemental... I just don't know how to write that in a better way

That's fine, don't worry it's not mean. I think they are pretty and cool. Plus just really self expressive. I'd like to get a few Christian related ones and a RA awareness ribbon. Maybe a horse. I don't see anything particularly wrong or ungodly about that. But I have awhile to think about it.
