We recently switched our flock to their winter housing, we have a flock of bird of mixed ages from a few months old to over a year. A few days after the move one of our older girls refused to leave, her feathers look mangled and she is suddenly terrified of everyone when she used to act more like a pet than a chicken and loved being around us now we can't even approach her. Any idea what's wrong? (Sorry I hope I did this right)

Hi and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us. If possible, I'd suggest trying to get a hold of her and examine her for signs of injury. Do you think that she is moulting, and hence looking a bit shabby? I'm sure others will be along soon to offer further suggestions. You could try posting on the ER forum - https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/threads/add/forumId/10

Best wishes

glad you have joined us.

Was there any other change in the flock with the move? Or all already living together just moved?

Chickens are individuals and a move is a stress that can have different effects on each.

Do a thorough exam and post the question under emergencies with as much detail as you can provide and hopefully someone can help solve the dilemma.

All the rest of the flock kept acting the same none of them are aggressive towards each other we have noticed a change in the rooster as well.. he seems to have become lazier and only interacts with the females in the morning.... he's relatively young and only reached maturity in march. is this normal?
