Hi I know i can feed the cows, pigs, horses: willow and hazel nuts, what about turkeys?

Any other suggestions?

I have been trying to feed them nuts too, acorns, walnuts, hazel nuts. But since I bought them from some one else and they are 6 months old, they aren't "trained" to eat weird stuff.

They do love fruit! Mostly apples and pears. Not so much the plums.

Mine are picky in what they eat too, and will only eat certain things. They probably would eat more stuff if I didn't feed them well. Best you can do is offer stuff and see how it goes.

This week we have added "chickweed" they like that. I tried more fresh Willow leaves, nope. And we keep chucking acorns in there and I can not tell if they are eating them or not as their pen is directly under an oak tree. My husband tried to fee them an old brown banana. They seem to be very happy with over ripe fruit. I have to step on the apples and pears to make them smushie before they will eat them.

I was hoping to fee them more tree greens as they are more abundant than chickweed and clover (their favorite!)
