Lol Don't worry, I've heard it before and knew what you meant. I'm jealous of all your baking. Soon as the power gets turned back on, I'll be baking bread and cookies the rest of the day. I might even "borrow" a few recipes you've posted and I'll have to share my caramel one later.

That's the truth. Hubby was down in Portland during their snowpocolypse a few years ago (like 8). He almost didn't make it home for Christmas because they had all of one or two plows for the whole city. We only have 4 or 5 up here, but they give a tax break to anyone that puts a plow on their truck to encourage people to plow roads themselves. Works really well, especially if you live a bit more rural.

Meanwhile up north in Canada, that was considered a liability...and you could get in DEEP DOODOO for that.

Funny eh?

Good afternoon!  It's raining big time here!  I think there will even be water in the creeks after this. I have been busy getting things ready for Christmas...  packages and cards and such.  Tree is still naked, but we will dress it up this weekend.  :D

Twist, you changed the website.  You need some pictures!  And make the address larger for us old people who don't see so well.   :old

Big time rain just turned into massive downpour!  Gutters are overflowing!  I have to leave soon to go get #2 from school.  It's going to be fun!
