Granny's gone and done it again

They're alive! Did I tell you I caught the black one mounting another? Guess we can eat them now. And I've got two guinea cocks for one hen, so we can eat one of those also.

One of my CQs is trying to become a rooster now that her husband is dead  I'm just waiting for the crazy chicken to crow....

I think Bandit is in pain, He keeps getting up and down. like he just cant get comfortable. Poor guy. Still no poop. After I get the second pill down him I will give him some broth. He is drinking and peeing good..
Poor baby. Keep the small meals coming. A little rice would be good for him. Too soon for anything other than broth, rice and a little chicken. His guts are ripped up, treat them gently. Give him a pat from me.

LOL Wish!
She got thrown in jail!
They just backed me up.

We have a shelter in place right now.

A tornado just touched down..(not near me)

Stay safe!

One-eyed Jack was the head cock in the hona pen. While I was at the conference he moved himself over to the layers. Unlike Ragnar, he did not become head roo and his in the nest boxes. I felt his keel and put him back with the honas. They've nearly scalped him and torn his comb all up, so now he's alone, poor thing.

I had a crazy Leghorn hen go all roostery. She acted like a male in every way (if you get my meaning) except for crowing and the occasional egg.

She spent time in solitary confinement because she was so rough on the other hens.
Hm, okay. Does she behave better now?
The only three chickens she doesn't mercilessly pick on are the two BSL's and her fellow cinnamon queen. Two of them are higher in the pecking order than she is, but the one who's lower, she leaves alone (which is weird, because they used to be arch enemies). And I've noticed that she really likes to pick on the austra whites, which were Arrow's favorite breed - the breedist rooster

He loved her like crazy though. She would "sneek" away from the top cock to hang out with him in "the littles flock." It was cute.

Pup wont eat the rice even flavored with the broth. He wont eat the cottage cheese and wont eat the yogurt. he took a bite of them all . However give him the bone broth or shredded chicken and watch your fingers. I dont have another roo to cook and have spent all I can . He has enough for a couple more days but guess I will go looking for free roosters by me.
I was talking to the pharmacist today about the probiotics for dogs and she said they are all the same . She picked out some childrens chewables but he wont chew so I guess they will go forcibly too. .
Meat dept. has no bones and never does.
