Wish I had some exciting news or entertaining story to tell you all, but it was a typically boring day, nothing news worthy. The uphill neighbor called to say that half of their big oak fell, she is having the whole thing cut down, and we are welcome to the wood! This is super news, because hubs was just lamenting that we would probably have to buy wood for next year.

Now that I have thrilled you all with my thrilling tale of good fortune, I will say tonight.


Granny, great to hear that the plumbing is finally working for both your boys!

I think those are one of, if not the most intelligent birds in the world! It was mimicking her laugh and other sounds. I would want a pet raven if it was legal. Have you seen these? Lyre bird from Australia. Not as smart, but more talented at mimicry.

Yes i did! I even used this futag in my teaching! I Don't envy no person in this entire world EXCEPT ONE, and he is David Attenborough! Since I was a child it always amazed me how in 3 consecutive scene in his program he could pass ftom the Arctic to Borneo and from there to the Amazonas I want a work that takes me to all this wonderful animals and plants! I have alot of his books, very lucky man.
